When you need a full-featured computer, but can't take your office PC and monitor with you, the Satellite P25 is the answer. It's packed with all the essential features you need to get the job done. This model is configured with a 3.2GHz Pentium 4 processor with HyperThreading technology, a 512KB L2 cache, an 80GB hard drive and 512MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 2GB). In addition to the 800MHz front bus speed, this Satellite contains two Type I/II PC Card slots that can also accommodate one Type III card, a Secure Digital slot and a DVD+/-RW SuperMulti drive with software decoder so you can relax with a movie after working. For your communications needs, there are three integrated solutions: a V.92/56K modem for dial-up, a 10/100 Ethernet to connect to your LAN and 802.11b/g wireless when you're roaming. The large 17" TFT display produces tremendous visuals and supports internal resolutions up to 1440 x 900 and external resolutions up to 2048 x 1536, both in millions of colors. You'll love the Realtek ALC202 16-bit stereo audio with built-in Harmon/Kardon speakers. The P25 comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, an AC adapter, a full-size keyboard with dedicated Windows and applications keys, and a touchpad pointer. Windows XP Home Edition is pre-installed.

| The machine runs great still after a few years. It holds up well with other models that are currently out, even with an older (P4) processor. Added RAM (1 GB) helps this monster quicken. DVD+/-RW, giant 17" screen, wireless LAN, card reader AND a PC Card slot reader. What more can you ask for? |
