The new ThinkPad T41p is among the thinnest and lightest mobile workstations available, offering a perfect balance of performance and portability that's made to order for today's road warrior. This Centrino model is configured with a 1.7GHz Pentium M processor, a 1MB L2 cache, a 60GB hard drive and 512MB PC2700 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 2GB). In addition to the 400MHz front bus speed, the ThinkPad T41p contains two Type I/II CardBus slots that can also accommodate one Type III card, and a 16x10x24x8 (max. speeds) CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive housed in the Ultrabay Slim. For your communications needs, it offers four integrated solutions: a 56K V.92 designed modem, infrared, a Gigabit Ethernet controller and Intel Pro 802.11b wireless. The ATI Mobility FireGL T2 graphics uses 128MB DDR SDRAM to produce incredible images on the 14.1" TFT display, supporting internal resolutions up to 1400 x 1050 and external resolutions up to 2048 x 1536, both in millions of colors. You'll love the SoundMAX audio with dual built-in speakers. The ThinkPad comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack, an AC adapter, and a full-size keyboard with an UltraNav pointer. Windows XP Professional is pre-installed.
