This model is configured with a 1.7GHz Pentium M 735 processor, a 2MB L2 cache, a 60GB user-removable hard drive and 512MB PC2700 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 2GB). In addition to the 400MHz front bus speed, the nc8000 contains two Type II CardBus slots that can also accommodate one Type III card, a Secure Digital (SD) slot and a 24x24x24x8 (max. speeds) CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive with software decoder for full video playback capabilities. For your communications needs, it offers a 56K/V.92 modem, 10/100/1000 Ethernet interface, 802.11g and Bluetooth wireless.
