The S6120D notebook PC gves new meaning to the word "portable." The combo drive is removable, making this computer a lean, mean mobile machine that weighs in at less than four pounds. This Centrino model is configured with a 1.4GHz Pentium M processor, a 1MB on-die L2 cache, a 30GB SMART hard drive and 256MB SDRAM (expandable to 1GB). In addition to the 400MHz bus speed, this notebook also sports a magnesium alloy casing, one Type I/II CardBus slot, a built-in SmartCard reader and a modular bay that can house optional drive modules or an optional second battery module. For your communications needs, it features built-in 56K modem and 10/100 Ethernet communications capabilities. The 13.3" TFT display supports resolutions up to 1024 x 768 in 16 million colors. The Intel 855GM graphics chipset with shared system memory offers external monitor support up to 1280 x 1024, as well as simultaneous internal and external display. SigmaTel AC97 audio with the Dolby Headphone Utility completes the multimedia experience. The S6120D comes with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, AC adapter and 82-key keyboard with a touchpad. Windows XP Home Edition is pre-installed.
