Google Toolbar
The Google Toolbar makes it easy to search the Web with Google from any website, and offers numerous other features that will enhance your online experience. Toolbar blocks annoying pop up ads and lets you fill in online forms with a single click. The Browse by Name feature lets you type site names instead of URLs into the address bar. 15.4" Wide XGA TFT Display
The LifeBook C1300D notebook features a large 15.4" wide XGA TFT display which shows 30 percent more information than a conventional 15" wide XGA TFT display. This is particularly useful for viewing more rows and columns in spreadsheet applications. The wider screen is also great for playing DVD movies in wide screen format.
Application Launch
A truly versatile and convenient feature developed by Fujitsu. There are four buttons which allow you to easily launch applications with one easy touch or use as a media player control. For the one touch application launcher, the buttons can be programmed to launch your email, Internet browser, and two other of your preferred applications. When switched to media playing control, the buttons allow you to play, pause/stop, fast forward or rewind audio tracks.
Dolby® Headphone
Dolby Headphone is a powerful signal processing system that lets you experience authentic surround sound over conventional stereo headphones. On multichannel DVD movies, you actually hear the sound of a five-speaker surround system in a good listening room. On stereo CD music, you hear the sound of a good two speaker stereo system. The effect is uncanny on any stereo headset.
The Dolby Headphone utility is bundled with the WinDVD application on the DVD and DVD/CD-RW combo models only.
DDR2 533 Memory
New Double Data Rate (DDR) system memory doubles the clock speed to 533 MHz with dual channel data transfer capability. Higher data transfer rate allows you to work faster and more efficiently.
Modular Bay
The modular bay offers flexibility to meet your needs. The modular bay can accommodate a DVD-ROM drive, DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive, Dual Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer, or a modular bay battery. For mobile professionals who do not require a media drive while on the road, a weight saver can be placed in the bay to reduce the notebook weight.
Integrated LAN, Wireless LAN, and Modem
Your LifeBook C1300D notebook comes standard with both the integrated modem and Gigabit Ethernet LAN, providing you the convenience of connecting to your office network while at home using a standard dial-up modem, or broadband (such as DSL or cable modem).
The LifeBook C1300D notebook offers Atheros Super AG® Wireless LAN (802.11a/b/g). The optional wireless LAN delivers the best connectivity and performance with either ‘11a' or ‘11g', and is backward compatible with the 802.‘11b' standard. Super AG® lets you browse the Internet at a fast transfer rate of up to 108 Mbps when connecting with a Super AG® enabled base station or router.
USB 2.0
This technology lets you easily connect your notebook to digital peripherals. This new version is 40 times faster than its predecessor and is downward compatible to USB 1.1 devices. USB 1.1 is appropriate for devices such as keyboards and joysticks, but if you have data intensive devices such as external hard drives or external optical drives, USB 2.0 is the preferred interface.
Port Replicator
For users who require total convenience in desktop replacement environment, this port replicator offers an easy one click dock/un-dock mechanism with the LifeBook C1300D notebook. This port replicator is also compatible with the LifeBook E8000/E8000D and S7000/S7000D notebook.
